Living at Green Pastures Christian Nursing home is akin to living in a home from home – maintaining chosen lifestyle and interests. We are practiced at developing a full understanding of current and former interests, and are adept at using this knowledge to support your loved one in enjoying their life more fully.

It is often the case people want to keep as active a mind as possible and, if the body obliges, that too. With purposeful activity comes a renewed enthusiasm for life. Therefore a variety of activities, events, entertainment and trips are on offer, organised by our dedicated activities team.

Person-centred care

Of course, there are those days when sitting quietly with a good book and watching the world go by is just the ticket. Supporting our residents to live with dementia, however it presents itself, is what we are good at. It’s all about person-centred care.

Social activities at Green Pastures Christian Nursing home are coordinated by our activities team, to ensure that a variety of entertainment and social events are organised to suit the interests of our residents, who are encouraged to maintain as full, interesting and meaningful a life as they wish.

Residents are encouraged to pursue and develop interests that appeal to them, taking into consideration individual circumstances. Our dedicated activities team work hard to make activities accessible to those who enjoy communal events, as well as those who prefer one-to-one activities.
